Using Insurance

We are in-network providers for Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBS).

We are out-of-network with Medicaid, Medicare, Healthy Blue, United, Optum, Humana, and Tricare plans. If your insurance is out-of-network with us, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Self-Pay

The cost of an assessment varies by the complexity of the testing question and several other factors but typically costs around $2,500.00.

For therapy services, the initial appointment is $250.00 and then each 60-minute individual counseling session is $200.00.

Testing administrative fee

A one-time testing administrative fee of $200.00 is charged for all psychological testing cases at the time of scheduling. This fee is non-refundable if testing is administered and it cannot be billed to insurance. If you notify us to cancel your psychological assessment (at least two business days in advance of your first appointment), you will be reimbursed the full $200 fee within two business days.

We are one of the few practices in town that accept insurance for a full range of psychological testing services. This fee covers the significant costs associated with testing that aren’t covered by insurance, such as testing booklets, materials, and access to online platforms that house electronic assessments.
