About Us

Our Approach

The CPAC provides comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children and adults primarily focused on psychological, cognitive, Autism, ADHD, and personality assessment.

We approach assessment a little bit different. Here’s how:

  • We take a person-centered, strength-based, neurodivergent approach.
  • We aim to help you gain self-awareness, not pathologize. You are who you are and that’s a beautiful thing. We want to provide a language and framework for you to understand yourself and how to be your best self.
  • The cornerstone of our assessments is conversations and collaboration with clients and the referral agents we serve.
  • While we value the scientific rigor of testing and evaluation to aid the therapeutic process, our passion lies in connecting with the referral agents and clients we serve. We listen to clients and believe that best practice is marked by extensive conversations with them and the key people in their life in a collaborative spirit.
  • When you have an assessment at the CPAC, we will collaborate with you to identify the advocates in your life who we should have conversations with, including your Physician, Psychiatrist, Therapist, Teachers, and/or family.
  • We believe in an interdisciplinary approach and work closely with Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHC), Educators, Psychiatrists, and other behavioral health or primary health care providers to assist clients in gaining a deeper understanding about their psychological and neuropsychological functioning.

Our Mission

The CPAC’s primary mission is to help you gain insight and understanding with the latest assessment tools in psychological science. We know from over a century of research on happiness, motivation, and well-being that people thrive when they are authentic and their life aligns with their values, interests, and skills. This is possible when they know themselves deeply and have advanced self-awareness. The assessments at the CPAC are focused on helping people get answers and gain insight about themselves, so they can align their life with what matters most to them and who they are on a deeper level. Our center is grounded by a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in both clinical care for clients and collaboration with colleagues who refer to us.
